Description

ulcerated irregularly shaped black plaque lesion involving the ball of right foot. LOcal examination revelaed a large pigmented lesion spreading both superficaially and also producing nodular masses involving the ball of right foot with extension on to the ventral surface of right great toe. Biopsy from the lesion showed typical features of deeply invading malignant melanoma. There was ipsilateral inguinal lymphadenopathy. FNAC from ipsilateral inguinal lymphnodes showed metastatic deposits of malignant melanoma.
