Comments

This 20-year-old girl developed a progressive atrophic hypopigmented plaque with surrounding hyperpigmentation on the ulnar aspect of her left forearm and arm over one year. She also developed distortion and atrophy of her left little finger. She did not respond to oral penecillamine 250 mg daily. Linear morphea is the most common morphea subtype in children and adolescents and is not associated with systemic disease. The disorder may involve the deep dermis, subcutaneous tissue, muscle, and underlying bone.
