These histologic findings in the setting of a renal failure and renal dialysis and the presence of diffuse of diffuse fibrosis of the extremities are characteristic of nephrogenic fibrosing dermopathy.

Description

Whorled haphazardly arranged collagen bundles are seen in association withj an increased number of spindled fibroblasts. There are scattered collections of multinucleated giant cells. With the exception of a rare focus of lymphocytes, the process is non-inflammatory.
