This 25-year-old woman was evaluated for a generalized morbilliform eruption that appeared after a one day prodrome of fever, sore throat, rhinitis and conjunuctivitis. The rash began as discrete pink macules on her face rapidly spreading to her neck,t runk, and extremities. The macules coalesed on the trunk and extremities. Forscheimer's spots were present on the soft palate. The eruption was also associated with arthragias and tender cervical lymphadenopathy. The rash began to disappear in the reverse order on third day, but arthralgias and lymphadenopathy lasted for a few weeks.
