Comments

A 51-year-old woman was admitted to the internal medicine unit with pulmonary tuberculosis and acute respiratory failure. This scaly papules and plaques on her feet were diagnosed and treated for tinea pedis. Scaly itchy patches were also noted on her arms. Potassium hydroxide examination of the crusts revealed scabies mites, nymphs, larvae, eggs and stools.
