Comments

This was a large mass shelled out of the pre-auricular area in a 73-year-old man. Due to the location, a salivary gland neoplasm was also considered; however, the histologic features were characteristic for a spiradenoma. This is a good example of the many different patterns seen in a spiradenoma.

Description

Other foci show large lobules admixed with islands and cords of basophilic cells within a fibromyxoid stroma.
