This 25-year-old man complained of recurrent and persistent scaling, pustules and dark pigmentation in the groin. He also had several plaques on the buttocks, lower legs, and left ear. The plaques cleared with topical clotrimazole 1 percent cream and oral terbinafine 250 mg daily for two weeks.
