This 35-year-old woman developed expanding annular scaly plaques on the dorsum and the palmar aspect of her right hand and wrist. A clinical diagnosis of tinea manum was confirmed with a fungal culture which grew Trichophyton mentagrophytes. She improved with topical clotrimazole and oral itraconazole in two weeks.
