A 36-year-old man with a fever, generalized malaise and loss of weight. There was a history of tuberculous spondylitis for almost a year but he refused to receive any antituberculous drug therapy. Paraspinal abscesses in the thoracic region of the spine were delineated by magnetic resonance imaging.

Description

A fluctuant cold abscess gravitated and was palpated in the right lumbar region.
