This 13-year-old boy was evaluated for multiple progressive widespread rough surfaced papules. On examination the lesions are discrete, well circumscribed, firm, elevated, papillomatous, hyperkeratotic surface present on the drosum of feet, hands, palms and elbows. Biopsy showed broad based epidermal lesion with hyperkeratosis, parakeratosis, hypergranulosis, acanthosis and papillomatosis. Upper layers showed deeply basophilic nuclei and were surrounded by clear zone. The rete pegs are directed towards the cneter of the lesion. Dermis was normal. There are no nuclear atypia. Histological features are consistent with Verruca vulgaris.
