This healthy 10-month-old infant had generalized acanthosis nigricans. He developed scaling and peeling around the toes following the application of a peeling agent. Neurodevelopmental parameters were normal although his head circumference, height, and weight were above the 95th percentile. There was no family history of similar skin findings, and a genetic evaluation was pending.
