Comments

This obese 23 year old woman developed symmetric velvety thickening and hyperpigmentation of the skin creases and bony prominences as well as reticulated and confluent scaly patches on the chest and back typical of benign acanthosis nigricans and reticulated and confluent papillomatosis of Gougerot and Carteaud. The lesions improved somewhat with topical peeling agents, but resolved completely without treatment several years later.
