This healthy 4 week old infant was noted to have symmetric linear plaques covered with thin membranes on the back of her legs and tops of her ankles at birth. All lesions healed leaving supple slightly atrophic fibrotic purple scars. The rest of her cutaneous and medical examination was normal, and she was growing and developing normally. She was one of twins the other of whom was reduced early in the first trimester.
