A healthy 4-year-old boy was evaluated for fibrotic yellow scars at the vertex of the scalp. At birth he had weepy crusted ulcers at the sites which healed over 2 months. His 2-year-old sister had a double cowlick and similar but more subtle scars. Both children were growing and developing normally.
