This 3 year old girl was born with a large eroded crusted patch involving much of the mid scalp. The erosion healed over the first 4-5 months of life leaving a scar with little hair. She was healthy and developing normally. The scar was well covered with her hair do. Surgical revision of the scar is anticipated in several years.
