This healthy 9-year-old boy developed minimally itchy papules and plaques on his right elbow after a trip to the Chesapeake Bay where he spent the day clamming. After 3 months of oral trimethoprin/sulfamethoxazole the lesions improved with a decrease in erythema and resolution of the erosions and crusts
