A 5 year old boy experienced repeated episodes of itchy red edematous papules and vesicles on exposed areas of the body particularly the legs below the knees. Some of the papules evolved into frank vesicles and bullae. Over 2-3 weeks papules and vesicles crusted over and healed with hypo and hyper pigmentation. These episodes recurred for over a year. No one else in the family had similar lesions or symptoms.
