A 19 year old woman with a history of pineal tumor developed pruritic and painful progressive blistering on her trunk and extremities. Skin biopsy revealed a subepidermal blister, and direct immunofluorescence showed IgG and C3 on the roof and floor of the blister in the basement membrane zone. Indirect immunofluorescence was also typical of bullous pemphigoid.
