A 73-year-old woman with itchy disseminated red plaques, bullae and crusts on the chest, back, abdome, arms, and legs for several months failed to improve with topical steroids. A biopsy confirmed the clinical suspicion of bullous pemphigoid, and she cleared within several weeks with oral steroids.
