Comments

This healthy adolescent with tuberous sclerosis complained of irritated papules on her face and nose since elementary school and several birthmarks on her forehead, trunk, and extremities. Multiple angiofibromas on her face and small areas in the collagenomas on her forehead, left arm, and chest were treated with the Q-switched alexandrite laser at 14 J/cm2, 10 Hz, and spot size 2 mm. cooling device at level 3. Further treatment was scheduled pending the results of the test spots. This image shows the collagenoma immediately before test spots.
