Comments

This 11 year old boy was evaluated for a patch of non scarring congenital alopecia. Although not truly triangular, the history of congenital hair loss at the frontoparietal scalp hair line that became more prominent with increasing age is typical. Although usually unilateral, these patches can be bilateral and remain unchanged through life.
