Comments

The characteristic findings in Darier disease includes two types of dyskeratotic cells - corps ronds and grains. This condition should be distinguished clinically from Grover disease (which has a Darier's subtype) and warty dyskeratoma (which is usually a solitary lesion).

Description

The epidermis is acanthotic and surmounted by parakeratotic scale. There is an intraepidermal cleft in a suprabasal location. Dyskeratotic cells are seen within the epidermis.
