Comments

This 86-year-old woman developed an eruption on her leg over a course of 6 weeks. The clinician submitted this as a possible drug or vesicobullous eruption. The histology in this case could be classified as a subcorneal pustular dermatosis. If infectious causes are excluded, the differential diagnosis would include AGEP, pustular psoriasis, and others. The finding of organisms makes everyone involved feel cheery.
