An adolescent boy developed a round itchy purple plaque on the right forearm every time he took a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) for pain related to sports activities. The lesion invariably healed leaving post inflammatory hyperpigmentation only to recur with subsequent challenge with the same NSAID.
