A healthy 4 month old boy was evaluated for recurrent blistering in the diaper area and over bony prominences on the hands and feet and occasionally around the mouth. He had no oral blisters or erosions. Skin biopsy showed a suprabasilar blister in the epidermis. The family history was negative for other affected individuals.
