This 12-year-old boy had a history of recurrent generalized blistering since a few days of age. The blisters healed with minimal scarring and atrophy. The eruption was associated with progressive nail dystrophy and loss of some of the finger and toe nails. Two siblings, who had a similar eruption died in infancy
