Comments

This newborn was noted to have scattered erosions and vesicles at areas of trauma on the abdomen cheeks, and extremities. Mucous membranes were spared, and the infant fed and gained well. A biopsy and immunofluorescent markers were most consistent with epidermolytic epidermolysis bullosa.
