Comments

This healthy infant had a history of blistering during the newborn period followed by diffuse scaling and exaggerated skin markings. A skin biopsy showed changes typical of epidermolytic hyperkeratosis or congenital bullous ichthyosiform erythroderma.

discrete round to oval 0.5-2 cm patches of desquamation with pink base, hyperpigmented thick adherent scales, and exaggerated skin markings
