Comments

This healthy 5-year-old girl developed rapidly progressive red macules, papules and vesicles on the trunk and proximal extremities which became widely disseminated. Her mucous membranes, however, were spared except for some mild conjunctival injection. She cleared within a week on oral steroids. A skin biopsy showed noninflammatory bullae with full separation of the epidermis from the dermis, and direct and indirect immunofluorescence were negative.
