This adolescent boy developed itchy, burning edematous violaceous and red plaques with dusky purple centers (targets) following several doses of doxycycline. The lesions were fixed and slowly progressive for 2 days and a painful lesion on the distal penile shaft and glans interfered with passing urine.

Description

red to violaceous 2-3.5 cm patches and plaques some with dusky centers and 2-4 mm blanching red papules with surrouding pallor
