This 67-year-old man was evaluated for generalized malaise, weight loss of greater than 50 pounds over 3 months, hepatomegaly, spenomegaly, and shortness of breath. He had 2 oral ulcers which were biopsied. The histology and culture confirmed the diagnosis of histoplasmosis, and he cleared with parenteral amphotericin B.
