Comments

This is a 21 year old woman from Boscas del Toro, Panama with a history of congenital acral blisters and progressive poikiloderma. She has fragile skin that blisters after minor trauma and cigarette paper-like wrinkling of the hands and feet. She has photosensitivity resulting in erythema, pruritus and blisters. Her clinical findings and course are typical of Kindler syndrome, a rare autosomal recessive genodermatosis. These images were obtained with the help of Dr. Homero Penagos, Social Security Bureau of Panama.
