Comments

This 10-month-old boy had a 2 month history of vomiting and diarrhea, weight loss, and skin eruption. A skin biopsy showed histiocytic infiltration of the epidermis with crusting, hemorrhage, and erosions. The cells in the epidermis were positive for S100 and CD1a typical of Langerhans cells. He also had Langerhans cell infiltration of the stomach and small bowel.
