A 4 year boy with failure to thrive, organomegaly,and adenopathy developed a progressive disseminated crusted violaceous hemorrhagic eruption which was most prominent in the skin creases. Skin biopsy from the lower abdomen showed changes typical of Langerhans cell histiocytosis
