Comments

This healthy 12-year-old girl had a 6 year history of progressive loss of al 20 nails with pterygium formation. Acanthosis nigricans developed recently as she began to enter puberty. Her oral mucous membranes were normal, and there was no family history of skin disease.

loss of nails with winglike growth of the proximal nail fold cuticle; velvety hyperpigmentation and thickening of skin over knuckles
