This healthy 8-year-old girl was admitted to the hospital on 2 occasions over a 6 month period for bowel clean out following prolonged stool withholding resulting from pain associated with lichen sclerosis. She was started on an 8 week course of high potency topical steroid.

symmetric midline hypopigmented and depigmented patch with atrophy and erosions
