This 5-year-old firl developed an asymptomatic linear violaceous plaque on the lateral aspect of the left thumb a year ago. The plaque extended to the lateral nail bed with subsequent development of a linear nail dystrophy. The rest of her skin examination and mucous membranes were normal.
