A 3 year boy developed an asymtpomatic depressed hypopigmented 3 cm plaque on the anterior left thigh 2 months after receiving a steroid injection in the left thigh. He received the steorids for management of status asthmaticus during an upper respiratory viral illness associated with vomiting and diarrhea.
