This healthy toddler developed progressive alopecia 6 months earlier. A hair pull demonstrated easily epilated hairs and the typical hair bulb changes of loose anagen syndrome. She was also noted to pull and twirl her hair. Consequently, this child had findings consistent with both loose anagen syndrome and traumatic alopecia.
