Comments

This young woman complained of asymptomatic nodules on her arms, face, and abdomen for 10 weeks. The lesions on her right arm had resolved and the nodule on her right cheek was subtle. Histologic findings showed a nodular interstitial infiltrate in the deep dermis comprised of small and large atypical mononuclear cells. Stains of the infiltrate for CD3 and CD30 were strongly positive and CD20 positive cells were rare favoring a T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder such as lymphomatoid papulosis or lymphoma. Further marker studies and a systemic evaluation were pending.
