Comments

This 6-month-old boy had a solitary bronze papule on his abdomen for 4 months. His mother noted that the lesion became red and swollen periodically. The examiner was able to demonstrate a Darier sign by rubbing the papule on the left side of the abdomen. Rubbing on the right side of the abdomen produced only transient erythema.
