This 12-month-old boy had a furuncle on the right thigh for a week. Pressure was applied to the sides of the pustule, and a white worm popped out. A topical antibiotic was applied to the residual lesion which healed within a week. Although myiasis is seen more commonly in the tropics, North American case have also been reported.
