Comments

This healthy 12-year-old boy had a 2 year history of progressive nail dystrophy starting with a few nails and now involving all nails on fingers and toes except the left fourth finger. He had no skin or oral mucous membrane lesions and was minimally symptomatic. He complained of pain when his mother attempted to clip his nails.

hyperpigmented dystrophic nails with uplifting, subungual debris, thick scaly nail bed, fragmentation and shortening of nails, with hint of pterygium
