This 68-year-old man with acute myelogenous leukemia and pancytopenia from intensive chemotherapy developed a widespread itchy painful purpuric papules, plaques some with hemorrpagic bullae on his chest, abdomen, back, and arms. The bullae were most prominent on his forearms. A skin biopsy demonstrated diffuse neutrophiliic infiltration of the dermis with hemorrhage and bulla formation.
