The first and largest tumor appeared by 3 years of age, and the other nodules developed over the last year. She complained of pain but they were not tender on palpation. Multiple piloleiomyomas are the most common variant of leiomyoma and usually present as firm, small, red or brown intradermal nodules arranged in a group or line. They may be tender and give rise to spontaneous attacks of pain. A biopsy was taken from the middle of the center nodule.
