Comments

This 8-year-old boy developed a persistent red scaly eruption on the genitals and groin. Over a few weeks the lesions generalized with the most dense papules and plaques on the lower abdomen, thighs, groin, and back. The eruption resolved without treatment 3 months later. Note the oval plaques with central scale typical of pityriasis rosea.
