A healthy toddler developed a disseminated asymptomatic red papular eruption with central scale, necrosis and crusting in some lesions healing with hyperpigmentation. The palms and soles were involved. Examination revealed no adenopathy or organomegaly and a skin biopsy from a red papule showed a benigm superficial dermal lymphocytic infiltrate with dyskeratosis, spongiosis and some hemorrhage.
