This 9-year-old girl had a history of blistering in sun exposed areas during infancy. This was followed by gradual progressive development of poikiloderma in sun exposed sites with extention to sites that are somewhat sun protected. She uses a sunscreen but is able to play outdoors at recess at school. She has never developed recurrent blistering. A skin biopsy from her hand showed changes typical of poikiloderma.
