Comments

A 55-year-old man developed asymptomatic disseminated minimally elevated annular papules during childhood. The lesions were stable for over 20 years. There was no family history of similar lesions. Disseminated superficial porokeratosis is a distinct rare type of porokeratosis. Porokeratosis is inherited in an autosomal dominant pattern mostly and is charecterized histopathologically by the coronoid lamella represented clinically by the hyperkeratotic ridge. The classical histological changes are less pronounced in this superficial variant of prokeratosis.
