This healthy 58-year-old woman developed violaceous tender plaques with mild edema on her left foot and ankle. She had no history of Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection, diabetes mellitus, infection, or other chronic medical problems. On examination she had evidence of mild stasis dermtitis. A skin biopsy revealed changes typical of pseudo-Kaposi sarcoma.
